Not my best set, but it'll do. :)

Well, hi guys! I've been living in So. Cal for a little bit over a month now. I like it so far. I had a rough first couple of weeks, but it got better once I started making good friends and spring came along.
This week is state testing. Last weekend, I had an audition for my high school's performing arts program. I'm now involved in costume design next year, and I'll know soon if I got into the ballet program. I'm not expecting anything, but I'm hoping.
Also-- once everything gets less hectic, I'm starting Chictopia again and starting a fashion blog! I promised myself!
Speaking of outfits, I got my 8th grade promotion dress over the weekend! I normally hate JCPenney. *Hate* it. But I was there over the weekend looking for inexpensive sportjackets for my brother's first communion, and I wandered into the women's clothing and found Charlotte Ronson's line "I <3 Ronson." So I started looking and found this maxi-dress that fit me absolutely perfectly, which is very rare because of my small size! It's black chiffon with a keyhole and tassles. I'm pairing it with a white and black cape from Topshop and black suede cut-out wedges that I bought in January from H&M. I'm so excited to see how it'll all turn out:) I'll probably be the only one with a long dress, but it's pretty casual. It's not like a gown or anything.
Hope you're all doing well!!! xoxoxo, Lizzi

Here are some updates :)
1. I'm moving to California in exactly a week, which means this will probably be the last set you'll see from me in a while. We start packing tomorrow.

2. Tomorrow's my birthday! I'm not doing much for it though because we start packing that day and our neighbors are throwing a goodbye party for us, and that takes up pretty much our whole day.

3. I've been so busy lately. Last weekend I had some friends over to celebrate my birthday. First, my friends Amanda, Cassidy, Swetha, Natalie, Jamey, Drew, and Pat and I went to get Rita's after school and we all hung out. Then, the girls and I went to Uno Pizza for dinner and then we saw "Beastly" which was so cute!
Sunday, I hung out with my friend Amanda. Yesterday, Cassidy and I went to Princeton to shop a little then I saw my school play. I really wish I had tried out, but we didn't know when we were moving and I would've been too busy anyway. Today, Francesca and Gloria are coming over to make fondue for a science project, then tonight I'm sleeping over at Cassidy's and then leaving tomorrow morning to celebrate my birthday with my family. All this week I'll be hanging with friends after school. I'm pretty sure I don't have one day that's free, which is good and bad :)

Anyway, I'll talk to everyone later. xoxo

GUESS WHO'S SEEING "NEVER SAY NEVER" TOMORROW?! I have to admit, I didn't like Justin Bieber too much when he first became famous. But after a couple of months, I started loving him. He's so sweet and grounded. He's also a really good musician... and he speaks fluent French. How could you not like him? Haha

I hate saying this because I love Jersey...
but I can't wait to move back.

So I got back from house hunting last week. We found out also last week, that the house we offered for accepted our offer. :) I was so excited, it's an awesome house and only half a mile away from the beach.

I hate the weather here sooooooo much. We have so much snow, and now it's becoming slushy because it rained a little bit today. I can't wait until spring. I love it when the weather is really mild and sunny. And I can't wait for all the spring clothes and stuff. :)

Sorry I haven't been making sets lately. You won't be seeing too many for a couple of weeks. I'm going to California this coming Wednesday-Monday to go house hunting for our big move coming up. I'm sort of excited because according to the Golden Globes, it's 80 degrees in California right now. I can't wait to pull out some of my summer clothes for the trip!
Also-- I was in Forever 21 last weekend buying a couple of things, and all of a sudden I heard this really good song! So I asked someone who worked there if they knew the song, and they told me it was by Kate Nash. Ever since, I've been obsessed with her music... she's amazing! Her sound reminds me a lot of Lily Allen's. While I was there, I bought a t-shirt with peacock feathers on it (I don't know if I've mentioned that I'm in love with peacocks), a really cute pink knit pullover, a UCLA t-shirt that my mom made me buy since she went there, and a super pretty bracelet. :)
This past week has been awesome... Monday and Tuesday were pretty chill days at school, we had a snow day on Wednesday, and on Thursday I had Challenge Day (if you don't know what it is, watch If You Really Knew Me on MTV), and Friday I did practically nothing in all of my classes. Also, on Friday I found out this guy I like likes me back.. which is really awesome.
This was long, but I needed to catch up. :)

Last Set of 2010
LAST DAY OF THE YEAR!!!! Wow.... 2010 went by so quickly. I went to a New Year's Party last night, and I'm going to another smaller one tonight.

My New Year's Resolutions:
-get better grades (this one is a big one for me!)
-become a lot more organized
-spend my money more wisely
-read more books

I haven't really thought of the rest yet, but I'm trying to make a smaller list than last year so I can actually accomplish them all.. haha!

Hope everyone has a great New Year (:
